Imagine my delight as I was checking out of Supersol: Chicken, Wine, Cranberries, Apples – Shabbat Lunch, and I was offered a REUSABLE very nice green canvas bag for only three sheckles (approx 75 cents). Of course I snatched up the bag, hoping to put an end to my use of plastic bags from grocery stores. I hope to live up to this commitment.

One more: As I was standing in line, a man was holding a bike helmet (always part of my wardrobe as well) and noticed that I was holding mine. Without saying a word, we made eye contact and nodded approvingly as if to say: “Way to go”.
