I came to Cleveland for the first time since February. I have been living in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, New York, places where people spend most of their time walking and on public transportation, in small apartments. It blew me away how big a small house is and words don’t even describe the large ones. I can only begin to contemplate how much energy goes into heating, cooling, and electrifying these large boxes. And if that were not enough, everything is so spread out that one must drive everywhere. Not the lifestyle I would choose, but maybe I will understand one day when I choose to start a family. Any comments, thoughts? Do you own a house?
